Thanks for tracking this bug down. I suggest for everyone to delay using invalidateblock to orphan the latest block. The problem is clearly a bug and will require an emergency hard fork to fix. It's probably easiest to do a hard fork in the next 24 hours while no one is able to stake.
I think I can prepare the code for an emergency hard fork tomorrow. Please look here for an announcement.
